Marion Levy-Bergman, M.S.W., L.S.W. (Pa.) L.C.S.W. (N.J.) Licensed Master Social Worker (N.Y.) is a clinical social worker with significant experience as an assessment expert. She is also daughter to a senior parent who lives alone and far away. Because she is a member of the “sandwich generation,” with limited financial resources, Marion understands the plight of children of the elderly who are separated by distance, and can't afford a high-priced “Care Manager” to watch out for a loved one. Just Like A Daughter  was “born” to address the needs of the average working-class daughter, son, niece, or nephew of a senior citizen who lives too far away for daily, or even weekly, contact. In addition to geriatric assessment and clinical treatment experience, Marion has also worked in training, counseling, and case management capacities with foster families, refugees, and home care patients, and continues to provide individual/couple and family psychotherapy across generations. Marion accepts Medicare Part B assignment for in-home counseling sessions in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
